Altitude and Emergency Evacuation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">High-altitude trekking can involve serious health risks, including altitude sickness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our guides and field staff may monitor travelers and recommend rest, descent, medical assistance, or changes to the itinerary when necessary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In an emergency, evacuation may be arranged where reasonably possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Helicopter evacuation, medical treatment, hospitalization, rescue services, and other emergency expenses may be charged to the traveler or their insurance provider.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Travel Bird Nepal strongly recommends comprehensive travel insurance that specifically covers trekking, high-altitude activities, emergency medical treatment, and evacuation at the maximum altitude applicable to the trip.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">14.
