Organizational Policies

1. Governance Policy

  • Inspire Youth Nepal is governed by a Board of Directors responsible for strategic decisions, financial oversight, and organizational accountability.
  • The Executive Director, appointed by the board, manages day-to-day operations and implements board directives.
  • Annual General Meetings (AGMs) will be held to review progress, present financial reports, and elect board members.

2. Code of Conduct

  • All staff, volunteers, and associates must demonstrate honesty, integrity, and respect in their professional duties.
  • Discrimination, harassment, exploitation, or abuse of any kind will not be tolerated.
  • Confidentiality must be maintained regarding sensitive organizational and beneficiary information.

3. Child Protection Policy

  • Inspire Youth Nepal is committed to the safety and well-being of children and youth in all its programs.
  • Background checks are mandatory for all staff and volunteers working directly with minors.
  • Any suspicion or incident of child abuse must be reported and dealt with promptly through legal and institutional mechanisms.

4. Financial Management Policy

  • All funds must be used efficiently and transparently for the purpose they were received.
  • Annual budgets must be prepared, approved by the board, and monitored throughout the fiscal year.
  • Regular internal audits and annual external audits are mandatory.

5. Anti-Corruption and Transparency Policy

  • The organization follows a zero-tolerance approach to fraud, bribery, or corruption.
  • All donations, grants, and expenditures must be documented and accessible for review.
  • Whistleblowers are protected and encouraged to report any unethical activity.

6. Volunteer and Staff Policy

  • Recruitment is based on merit, inclusivity, and equal opportunity.
  • A clear orientation and training process is in place for all new recruits.
  • Staff and volunteers are entitled to a safe, respectful, and supportive working environment.

7. Gender Equality and Social Inclusion (GESI) Policy

  • All programs are designed to be inclusive and responsive to the needs of women, marginalized communities, and persons with disabilities.
  • Gender balance is promoted at all levels of the organization.

8. Environmental Policy

  • Inspire Youth Nepal commits to eco-friendly practices in all its operations and projects.
  • The organization will minimize waste, reduce carbon footprint, and advocate for climate-conscious actions.

9. Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) Policy

  • All programs will be regularly monitored and evaluated based on predefined indicators.
  • Lessons learned will be documented and used to improve future projects.
  • Feedback from beneficiaries will be incorporated into the planning process.

10. Data Protection and Privacy Policy

  • Personal data collected through projects or partnerships will be securely stored and not shared without consent.
  • Digital platforms and data systems will follow best practices in cybersecurity and user privacy.

11. Partnership Policy

  • All partnerships must align with the mission and values of Inspire Youth Nepal.
  • Written agreements will define roles, responsibilities, and mutual expectations.
  • Due diligence is required before entering into collaborations.
