At Bhairabi Handicraft, our artisans are not a footnote in our story. They are the story. Every product we sell was made by a woman who chose her independence through her craft \u2014 and who deserves to be known, not just thanked.<\/p>\n

WHO OUR ARTISANS ARE<\/h3>\n

Our artisan network is made up of women from Nepal’s hill communities \u2014 women who carry centuries of traditional craft knowledge in their hands and who, for too long, had no platform to turn that knowledge into economic power.
\nThey are mothers, daughters, community leaders, and teachers. They work with us not as factory employees, but as skilled craftspeople who are treated with the respect their mastery deserves.\n<\/p><\/div>\n

  • Formal Skill Training<\/strong> \u2014 Every artisan receives structured training in wet felting, needle felting, natural dyeing, quality control, and finishing. Training is always provided free of charge.<\/li>\n
  • Fair & Consistent Wages<\/strong> \u2014 Our wage structure is transparent, fair, and benchmarked against Nepal’s living cost \u2014 not minimised to maximise our margins.<\/li>\n
  • Safe Working Conditions<\/strong> \u2014 Our workshops maintain clean, safe, and comfortable working environments. We are committed to zero tolerance for unsafe practices.<\/li>\n
  • Flexible Working Models<\/strong> \u2014 We work around village life \u2014 offering schedules that accommodate family responsibilities and seasonal rhythms.<\/li>\n
  • Career Progression<\/strong> \u2014 Senior artisans move into quality control, training, and design roles. We grow together.<\/li>\n
